I absolutely adore weddings! Witnessing a couple in LOVE, committing before their family and friends that they will love one another in good times and bad, for better or worse, until the end of their life. LOVE is an emotion that touches me deeply, and I seem to dry a few tears at every wedding!

As I photograph a wedding, it is my desire to tell a story of LOVE that can be told over and over again. One of my recent weddings with David & Janice was no exception. I just received this email from them and thought I would share it with you:

Dave and I are ecstatic with our wedding pictures! You have a special knack. We appreciate your energetic and fresh approach to photography. Your enthusiasm for what you do is contagious.

Your photojournalistic style brought wonderful results. When we came to your studio to view our pictures, we felt like we were reliving a very beautiful day. You showed us what our wedding looked like to our family and friends, something that we could not have seen on our own.

Yes, LOVE is a beautiful thing!

Twin Time!

Bart and Collin, adorable identical twins, were born on September 7, 2009; and I have the privilege of photographing them during the first year of their life. What a blessing! I have yet to meet their three older siblings (can't wait), but their Dad and Mom are amazing!

Bart is a sweet little sleeper who makes a melodic cooing sound that I love. Collin likes to stretch and is awake more because he doesn't want to miss anything with his big, beautiful eyes. Both were almost exactly the same size at birth: 6 lb. 10 oz and 20 inches long. What a healthy pair born at 37 weeks.
I can't tell you how much I have loved photographing them over the past couple of weeks. They have brought such joy to my days! You'll be seeing a lot of photographs of Bart and Collin over the next year! Stay tuned! :)

Rob - Class of 2010

What a fun senior session with Rob this week! Here are a few of many images just to give you a sneak peek:

Vicki - Class of 2010

Vicki is such a talented softball player! She plays on two travel teams as well as her high school team! I think her career choice to teach others about sports is terrific! Although Vicki was less talkative than some seniors, we had a great time during her session. I even got her to laugh with a little dance behind my tripod! Vicki, thank you for allowing me to photograph you during this very important time of your life. You are a beautiful young lady, and I really enjoyed our time together. Go NORTHERN ICE! Go GATORS!

Austin - Class of 2010

I'm continually impressed with high school seniors these days! Austin is no exception. He is active in cross country, has a part-time job and works hard to earn high grades in school. It was great to learn more about him during his senior portrait session. What a bright future ahead for this young man!

Sarah - Senior Portrait Session

Sarah will begin her senior year this fall. She is such a kind and loving young lady with great courage and hope. Such amazing blue eyes! We had a great time together during her session!

Jordan - Senior Portrait Session

This is a young man with character and integrity. Jordan will be graduating high school next month and moving into his next season of life as a college student. He has a very promising future ahead of him! Jordan, keep running the race!

Ava - 6 Months

Ava was bright and bubbly for her 6-month session! She can sit up with just a few wobbles, and she has a contagious smile! It was a joy to spend time with Ava and her mom!

Sporty Session

Lauren and Baylee were in a relaxed, sporty mood when they arrived for their portrait session! Basketball, soccer, softball and running are just a few of the sports they enjoy. They are so excited about warmer weather and being able to play outdoors! We had a great time together in my new studio space!

Grayce's Baptism Portrait

Grayce is the very first client to have her portrait taken in my new space! This area is larger than my previous area, which allows for flexibility and fun during indoor portrait sessions!
A very special occasion made even more meaningful with this gown as it was her mother's. It's beautiful!
