Nathan's academic accomplishments are nothing short of amazing! In addition, he plays four instruments, leads worship at his church, and is a third degree black belt! He will be majoring in Aerospace Engineering. He even has his own telescope!

Bob, Debbie, Abbey, Andrew and Morgan were a joy to photograph on a HOT summer evening recently! Bob's sister even joined us, and I even talked her into getting into a couple portraits with them!  This family receives an A+ with their clothing selections and color harmonizing for this session!  I LOVE the turquoise and brown combination!  Beautiful!

Tobias is brother to Yvonne, whose senior portraits I photographed last year.  I love being there for families and all of the important events in their lives.  Tobias has been homeschooled and taking collage courses at MCC during his senior year.  He plans to continue his education at MCC for another year or two.  Tobias was a lot of fun during his session and it definitely shows in his portraits!

Caitlyn is a very hard-working and motivated young woman. She finished all of her high school classes in 2010 and is now a successful sales rep for Lia Sophia. She loves her two dogs, Roxy and Ruby, and her boyfriend of 3 years, Dayne. She was referred to us by another Tonya Pro Senior you might remember, Nina. Even though we almost froze our buns off during the shoot, Caitlyn maintained her playful energy and smiled like a professional model all through the session!

Keira Knightley, Kim Kardashian and Eva Longoria all rolled into one! Nellie has got the looks and the modeling skills to boot! What a cutie!

Nellie is a vocalist and has enjoyed participating in musicals during her last year at high school. She will be attending University of Kentucky in the fall. Both of her sisters attend the University of Iowa but Nellie wants to "blaze her own trail." Rock on, Nellie! :)

Nina - Class of 2011 | Crystal Lake Senior Photographer

We had the most beautiful weather the day of Nina's senior portrait session! Her love of the country took us to the northern part of Crystal Lake where beautiful fields and rustic barns are found!  Nina's a natural! Beauty, poise and charm are all wrapped up in this one wonderful young lady!

His ears are trained to hear sounds; my eyes are trained to see the light.  Curtis and I had a wonderful time talking about his experience as a Sound Tech during school musicals and plays.  He plans to pursue his career in that field during college.  We had a great time during his session (even though it was a bit blustery during the outdoor part)!

Kelsey - Class of 2011 | Crystal Lake Senior Photographer

Who would have guessed it would be HOT in mid-October?  That's exactly what Kelsey's session was like on a warm, sunny morning...gorgeous! Although I would have been happier with a few clouds!   I was so thankful for Lori, Kelsey's Mom, and her assistance with the diffuser!  Kelsey's great attitude and fantastic smile made the day even brighter! 

Bart & Collin - 9 Months Old

These two handsome boys were so much fun today!  Bart & Collin are now 9 months old, and I have been photographing them since they were born!  What a joy!  These two are on the move, and usually in opposite directions.  This kept all of us (Mary, their Mom, Emily and Abbey) moving for the entire session.  It was so much fun! 

Twin Time!

Bart and Collin, adorable identical twins, were born on September 7, 2009; and I have the privilege of photographing them during the first year of their life. What a blessing! I have yet to meet their three older siblings (can't wait), but their Dad and Mom are amazing!

Bart is a sweet little sleeper who makes a melodic cooing sound that I love. Collin likes to stretch and is awake more because he doesn't want to miss anything with his big, beautiful eyes. Both were almost exactly the same size at birth: 6 lb. 10 oz and 20 inches long. What a healthy pair born at 37 weeks.
I can't tell you how much I have loved photographing them over the past couple of weeks. They have brought such joy to my days! You'll be seeing a lot of photographs of Bart and Collin over the next year! Stay tuned! :)
