Anthony & Tana were married on a beautiful day in July!  Recently we met for a family portrait session.  No children just yet, but they consider Buzz and Woody their family.  These two handsome Bassett Hounds are a year old and had a great time sniffing around the park.  I love photographing my clients through the different seasons of their lives.  Thank you Anthony & Tana!

Darby, Sandy and Emily met me on a beautiful Saturday morning for their family portrait session.  Emily is one of our 2011 high school seniors, and I had so much fun at her session in May!  Emily is a Crystal Lake South graduate and now attending Arizona State.  I have a feeling that her parents will be visiting often as they all love the warm Arizona weather!

Bob, Debbie, Abbey, Andrew and Morgan were a joy to photograph on a HOT summer evening recently! Bob's sister even joined us, and I even talked her into getting into a couple portraits with them!  This family receives an A+ with their clothing selections and color harmonizing for this session!  I LOVE the turquoise and brown combination!  Beautiful!

Bart & Collin - 9 Months Old

These two handsome boys were so much fun today!  Bart & Collin are now 9 months old, and I have been photographing them since they were born!  What a joy!  These two are on the move, and usually in opposite directions.  This kept all of us (Mary, their Mom, Emily and Abbey) moving for the entire session.  It was so much fun!

Based on a true story of the Von Trapp Family who fled from Nazi-occupied Austria before the outbreak of World War Two, The Sound of Music is an exciting story of family, freedom, triumph and romance! The play is set in Austria in 1938. Maria Rainer, a free-spirited nun-in-training who has much trouble adjusting to convent life. Maria is then sent to be a temporary governess to seven children of widower Captain Von Trapp who treats his children like a group of regimented sailors. However, Maria's love of music, and of life, soon endears her to the children and, after much work, even the strictest of Captians begins to deeply admire her. As their love grows, so does the hatred in the world around them and the family must find a way to flee over the Alps of Switzerland to escape the Nazi invasion! From the open-hearted innocence of the title tune to the uplift of "Climb Every Mountain" to the folk simplicity of "Edelweiss" to the charm of "Do-Re-Mi" and "My Favourite Things," The Sound of Music continues to delight families with its memorable story and music!
